Description

Duties and Responsibilities • Include the following (Other duties may be assigned). • Diagnoses mechanical problems; repairs and rebuilds rigs, water pumps, commercial mowers, saws, and compactors, etc. • Diagnoses problems and repairs brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, hydraulic systems, valves, pumps and electrical problems. • Welds equipment as needed. • Sand blasts, paints and repairs body of equipment as needed. • Maintains file cards for company fleet. • Orders parts as needed to maintain stock; picks up parts. • Checks and schedules work for all motor fleet. • Makes service calls as needed. • Maintain the preventative maintenance schedule for every vehicle in the fleet. • Routine oil changes, tire rotation, fluid changes, battery inspections, electrical system testing, brake inspections and replacement etc. must be performed as detailed on the maintenance log sheets. • The log sheets must be completely filled in with accurate information as the maintenance is performed and submitted to the PR/HR department. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
